Lorraine Avila moore for city council 2022
The city of Lynwood residents deserve a clean, safe and healthy community to live and shop in. We can make our city better together! Si se puede! Vote for change by Novemeber 8th, 2022.
THE CHANGE WE NEED
Public Safety
Our city needs more police patrolling to minimize crime within the city. Speeding and cars doing donuts is a major problem and one of the main reasons for so many accidents.Bulid City Economy
Partnering with commercial businesses is an invest in Lynwood and will create new jobs and new revenues for the city. Lynwood residents should be able to shop in their own community.Rent Control
The cost of living is continuing to rise at higher rates than resident's income levels. By seeking some form of rent control, we can reduce the risk of displacement of Lynwood families and residents that can no longer afford the cost of higher rent increases.
Enough! Let's Stop The Power Grab.

Lynwood Families Against Measure R
Measure R was created to deceive Lynwood residents into thinking we did not have term limits and placed on the June 7th, 2022 ballot. This measure sadly passed with only 2,500 votes out of 29,000 registered voters. This measure resets the term limits to 3 terms (4yrs each term) making it a total of up to 12 MORE years for council members, even if they have already served 8 yrs to date. Back in 2008, we the voters passed Measure C for 2 term limits (4yrs each term) limiting service to 8yrs. Let's not vote for councilmembers who are using deceptive tactics to lie to us and fool us. DO NOT RE-ELECT deceivers. DO NOT LET THEM POWER GRAB OUR CITY!
Lynwood is high risk

Being a mother of a Los Angeles County Firefighter, I understand the importance of having first responders available in our community. First responders put their lives on the line everyday to service our families to keep us safe. In return, we must provide them the support, proper tools, and equipment they need to do their job. Be involved, make a difference and vote for change today!
